The second-hand book stall has so far raised about £2000! Donated books continue to flood in and replenish stocks so it is worth popping back each time you shop to stock up on holiday reading material.

The Grants are being made available to community projects in Burnley, Pendle & Rossendale. There is a strong focus for small grassroots groups that are providing effective community activity programmes.
The Police Commissioner’s Community Action Fund is open to local groups and organisations with a constitution to apply.
The Commissioner’s Community Action Fund is designed to provide small grants to assist groups in tackling local concerns and helping to deliver the priorities of his Police and Crime Plan in their area.
The 2018 Crook Hill Community Benefit Fund is open for applications from Community Groups.
The Crook Hill Community Benefit Fund has £35,000 available each year. Monies are provided by Hastings who own the Crook Hill wind farm and the Fund is managed by natonal grant-making charity, GrantScape.
