Rossendale Leisure Trust is the largest not for profit social enterprise in the Valley, established in 2004 with aspirations to promote an active and healthy community within Rossendale. as a company we also hold a charitable status.

We manage a range of facilities including Adrenaline Centre (formerly Haslingden Sports Centre)  and Marl Pits Leisure Centre on behalf of Rossendale Borough Council and two local schools. The Trust also had a growing development team working in the areas of Sport and Healthy lifestyles, as well as investing in community outreach and engagement events within the community.

We have over 500,000 customer visits a year at our facilities, along with a headcount of over 500,000 a year passing through our in school and community outreach and coaching programmes. We have also managed to bring in over £2,000,000 of grant funding to the Valley since 2004 for a variety of project and facilities.

The work of the organisation is overseen by a board of trustees, drawn from the community, with both the passion for sport in Rossendale, and the skills to enable them to direct company affairs.  The Trust works in many areas, with current projects ranging from the highly successful ‘Girls in Sport’ to ‘Sportivate’.
