Rawtenstall Remembrance Parade

Return to list of services

Rawtenstall Remembrance Parade and Service is organised by a committee in order to recognise the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces during conflicts around the world.

Mustering and leaving Rawtenstall Town Square at 2:25PM, to parade up Kay Street, down Bank Street, across St. Mary’s Way to gather at the Cenotaph outside St. Mary’s Church for a service of remembrance to commence at 3PM.  We then parade back up Bacup Road and Kay Street to dismiss on the Town Square.

We are very much planning to have a Parade on Sunday 14th November 2021 and would be pleased to see veterans, community groups and members of the public in attendance. We will need help with funding for Traffic Control, however, so anyone who could help with donations or advice, please be in touch.
