The Maden Early Years & Childcare Centre is a Non-Profit Nursery based within the Maden Centre in Bacup. We offer childcare for children aged between 0-4 years and we operate for 51 weeks of the year.
Within the play that we provide, we follow the Revised Early Years Foundation framework. This ensures that we provide individual learning and development for each and every child, treating them as individuals and promoting positive relationships.
The environment we provide is carefully designed to ensure that it stimulates and supports children’s learning. The staff all plan individual activities for the children, taking their interests and building them into a learning opportunity in order to extend their development through individualised provision.
Detailed observations and photographs of the children are used to evidence the progress they make, and these are placed in the children’s individual learning journey folders. Parents are welcome to look through their child’s folder, and we welcome parental/carer input.
