The Friends of Whitworth Library Group (FOWLG) has been set up as a response to LCC making cuts to library services.
The non-party, apolitical group believes that the loss of this community hub, which offers a variety of activities in addition to the usual book lending and IT facilities, would be detrimental to the well-being of the people of Whitworth.
It is worth fighting for as, once it is gone, there will be no way of reinstating it.
