This postnatal exercise class is a studio-based group class to support postnatal recovery, for women that have been signed off and given the OK to exercise after having baby (from 6 weeks +). A class that incorporates various exercise formats, using weights and bodyweight to give your full body a workout. With big focus on building back strength and fitness after having your baby, particularly in your core and pelvic floor.
A class that you can bring your wee-one along to, so childcare is not an issue. One where you will meet other local mamas; exercise, socialise and have lots of fun too. We go with the flow and make it work… rest when you need to, change/feed baby as and when you need to… zero pressure.
No two classes are the same, exercises and training formats change each week. All exercises are suitable for postnatal recovery and modifiable (Kate always offers lots of alternatives and options for all abilities). Having trained many women through pregnancy and beyond, you’re in safe and knowledgeable hands. A relaxed and welcoming vibe, with an awesome mummy tribe!
Note: exercise modifications will always be offered, whatever your experience level and ability, you will get a good workout working at your level. If you’d like more information about this class, get in touch.
All classes are being delivered in-line with Covid-19 guidelines.
A 4-week course costs £26 and you can pay per session if there is space on a course (payg can be booked the day before each class via the GymCatch app for £8 per session). Book courses via the GymCatch app.
Sessions/courses run on a Tuesday & Thursday – 10.30am-11.30am.
