Rotary members are enthusiastic, fun-loving and active volunteers who give their time and talents to serve the communities both at home and overseas. These are dedicated people, men and women from business and professions, who share a common interest in helping others. Each member enjoys business as well as social networking opportunities, whilst giving something back to those less fortunate, learning new skills and having a huge amount of fun!

Members organise community projects that address many of today’s most critical issues, such as violence, drug abuse, health, hunger, the environment and illiteracy. Rotary Clubs determine service projects based on local needs. Men and women of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to join Rotary, to use their time, talents, professional skills and energy to improve the lives of people in their local community.

New members are always welcome at Bacup Rotary Club if you are interested in finding out more, why not come along to out next meeting? We look forward to seeing you.

Bacup Rotary Club Meets at Central Methodist Church Hall Tuesday Nights at 6:00pm.

Our long established club has served the local community for 66 years, living the Rotary precept of “Service Above Self” during the many local and international fund raising activities.

President Peter Steen extends an invitation to anyone wishing to attend a club meeting to contact the secretary for details.

Rotarians are automatically entitled, and always welcome, to attend any meeting, please make contact beforehand to check on club activities, register your attendance and (importantly) book your dinner.

We are looking for more men and women of all ages and backgrounds to join our club, to use their time, talents, professional skills and energy to improve the lives of people in their local communities and others around the world.  And, in the process, you can enjoy the benefits of business networking, personal development, meeting new friends, hearing inspiring speakers, having a great deal of fun and experiencing that special sense of fulfillment that comes from achieving something really worthwhile.

If Rotary sounds like the organisation for you, we’d like to hear from you!
