Rossendale Memory Choir is a singing group for people living with dementia and their carers, in conjunction with Crossroads Care East Lancashire. The group meets on Wednesdays between 1.30 – 3.15pm
Come along and enjoy the company of others while singing some old favourites plus some new songs. Singing is great therapy for everyone as it gives us a physical as well as a mental workout, but it has been shown to be particularly beneficial for those with memory problems because it is a whole brain activity, it helps with other skills such as orientation and is one of the last skills to be lost in dementia.
